We are on a journey; we will seek to move forward together through education and awareness to build a culture that welcomes and celebrates diversity and uniqueness. We will create an environment where we are respected and belong. Where we all can, every day, bring our authentic selves without pressure or fear.
Over the last few years, we are proud of the strong foundations we have laid down for our DEI activity. Our inclusive approach is reflected in the results from the most recent Great Place to Work® survey where 86% of our colleagues agreed that Mundipharma is committed to an inclusive environment. This is a 9% increase on the previous year. As well, 87% of colleagues agreed that at Mundipharma, diversity is valued, and all people are treated with fairness and respect. We now have the opportunity to build on this as we continue our United for Patients journey.
At Mundipharma, our Inclusion Council is our Employee Resource Group made up of passionate colleagues from different backgrounds representing different parts of the organisation. They have led and supported many initiatives including the MundiTalks podcast series, continue celebrating key awareness days and events, introducing reverse mentoring, launching our global DEI Policy, our Inclusive Guide and Curiosity Space – our dedicated resource hub allowing for continuous learning and around DEI topics. This Council is key to helping us achieve our goals.
To help build this strategic plan it is important we take steps to understand the unique makeup of our organisation. Led by Bhavik Pancholi our Director for Learning, Development and Inclusion and with the support of and under the guidance of Petra Molan, Chief Commercial Officer our Executive Sponsor, our plan is to build a strategy, aligned with our organisational objectives, and to execute around three key pillars; Engage, Educate and Monitor.
