Our social media channels have been created to share updates with our global community on our people, priorities and progress as an organisation.
Due to the highly regulated industry in which we operate, there are some conversations that we cannot engage with or allow on our channels. These include discussions about products or advice on individual medical conditions or treatment recommendations. Guidance of this nature should be provided by a healthcare professional.
Our guiding principles and behaviours underpin everything we do, including how we manage activity on these channels to uphold our industry regulations and standards.
It is our responsibility to do the right thing to safeguard the experience of users of our company channels. As such, we may remove posts, graphics, comments, videos, photos, or any other content that:
- Offer unauthorised health or medical advice
- Mention prescription medicines or their side effects
- Disclose adverse events to medicines (see guidance below regarding suspected side effects)
- Disclose personal information about a person or their health status
- Is potentially libellous, defamatory or disparaging
- Infringes on copyrights or trademarks
- Condones or promotes illegal activity
- Contain proprietary, confidential, sensitive, or non-public information
- Is misleading, fraudulent or deceptive
- Uses language that is vulgar, discriminatory or harassing
- May be considered spam, advertising or is intended to cause technical disruptions to the channels
- Promotes another product or service
- Is off-topic or not related to the post under which it appears
- Do not follow the user agreement, guidelines or terms of use of the host platform
We reserve the right to remove or hide any such content and we may block or remove anyone found repeatedly posting material that does not adhere to these guidelines from our channels.

Report a suspected side effect
Patient safety is very important to us.
If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse. This includes any possible side effects not listed in the package leaflet. By reporting side effects, you can help provide more information on the safety of medicine.
In the UK, you can also report side effects directly via the Yellow Card Scheme at www.mhra.gov.uk/yellowcard.
You can contact us to report a side effect here.
For information about privacy and how we protect your personal data, read our Privacy Policy.
Thank you for helping us to do the right thing as part of our global community.
